YAHUAH’s Feasts

I was born in a tropical Caribbean island called “The Dominican Republic” and since I have memory my family used to celebrate a feast every year on July. Something called “Fiesta de Palos”. These are big tambourines, three of them and they are used to make the party. It lasted for 7 or 9 days. I know that my grandmother always started a pre-feast gathering on July 7th, every single night was a feast with tambourine, people dancing and chanting. Everyone in the neighborhood and surrounding areas were expecting that yearly feast and they would come to assist from every part of the country and sometimes come from other countries as well.

It was awesome, Sadly to say, I always had two left feet, so I never learned to dance (my bad). When I grew up and met my Adonay YAHUAH, I learned that the feast was not dedicated to YAHUAH, but to idols. And yet, I was speechless with the dedication, commotion and emotions of these days.

When I started following YAHUAH, I was indoctrinated that all these feasts were evil (they were right), but I was constantly questioning and wondering, why everyone in the world is always prompt to celebrate a new party, a holiday and even make up new holidays for the sake of enjoying and celebrating only… Latin celebrations are very vivid and colorful, noisy and non-sleeping, sometimes we would stay five or 7 days parting, non-sleeping, just drinking and partying.

BUT, my constant question, we have no parties or feasts to celebrate with big fanfares, that is what I thought until YAHUAH opened my eyes and showed me in His Word that He has seven Great Feast in the Bible and these Feast were created for all followers of YAHUAH to celebrate them ETERNALLY, but I was always told that these feast were left behind in the Old Testament. What a big lie that was.

I was marveled to understand in Exodus 12:24 “And you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever.”, but please real full chapter for better understanding.

I recently discovered these Seven Great Feast of YAHUAH and the most shocking part to me is that YAHUAH said that they are FOREVER. So, does forever means eternally or that they do no longer exist? FOREVER means eternally and everlasting. YAHUSHA, the disciples and the apostles celebrated these feasts in the New Testament.

These are the Seven Great Feast every follower of YAHUAH:

  • Passover & Feast of Unleavened Bread (Exodus 12:15, Leviticus 23)
  • Pentecost (Leviticus 23:9-16)
  • Feast of Trumpets (Exodus 23:14; Deuteronomy 16:16)
  • Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:27)
  • Feast of Tabernacles & The Eighth Day (Leviticus 23:34-35, Leviticus 23:39)

So, why should I continue feasting and partying with the ones dedicated for and by the world instead of celebrating YAHUAH’s feasts in my life?

That is why, starting on April 4th, 2022 I am incorporating YAHUAH’s feasts in my life and my family and they will be FOREVER, EVERLASTING, ETERNALLY.

It is better for me to feast and celebrate with YAHUAH and His feasts than away from Him and with the world. You may decide on your own, but as for me, I stick with YAHUAH’s feast.

So, you think these feasts are part of the past, good for you. You think, these feasts do no longer apply, good for you.

Even if they would be part of the past and long gone as many falsely claim, I would and will still stick to them because YAHUAH said forever and keeping YAHUAH’s feast are a great joy to my life.

I am using the Hebrew or Biblical calendar created by Tim and Charlene at Yah’s Covenant Calendar Club.
